Following receiving a Degree in History and Politics at UCD, Jacquie’s first exposure to the food business was as a Management Graduate with McDonalds during their growth phase in the early 80’s. Marsh then went onto work within companies in a growth/diversification phase such as Next and PJ Carrolls plc. Occupying herself in a very diverse range of positions where business growth and development and pursuit of excellence were always the central theme.
Marsh then spent 10 years consulting high potential start up businesses until the opportunity arose in 2000 to acquire a share in a company which she believed had huge potential and to which she could apply her expertise in business development, marketing and business excellence.
She became a partner with Eileen Bergin in The Butler’s Pantry with a clear mission to develop a leading national brand and grow the business as a ‘best practice’ company-------------and the rest is history. In her constant pursuit of excellence Marsh has brought home numerous business awards the most recent being The Butler’s Patnry’s place as a national finalist in last year’s European Business Awards. Marsh is Board member of the British Irish Chamber
Jacquie lives in Sandycove with her husband Ian O’Meara and their two daughters Sorcha and Inez and son Oisin and Elsa their yellow Labrador.
What you definitely didn’t know about Jacquie is that she sings in a choir, hides away for a half day every week to do some ’blue sky thinking’ and Sunday dinner with her family is a fixture that no one in this world is allowed interrupt!!!
