Banks are telling us they are back in business for small business and it is also a great time to hire.”

“Our sector was possibly one of the first to be effected back in 2008 /2009 . We have seen a number of positive indicators in the last 12 months and are very confident to re-commence our growth again. Our culture of continuous improvement and flexibility towards change is what saw us through the tough times and is the platform on which our business will now grow and develop. Our business is made up of a unique group of people, talented and determined and I thank each and every one of them. This is their day, their success”, she continued.

With an investment in excess of €100,000, The Butler’s Pantry 600 sq ft shop on Castleknock’s main thoroughfare has used a new design template for the shop and new award winning packaging all from indigenous Irish designers. The new design for the packaging and brand livery comes from Designer, Gerard Whelan of Brand Central who is working on the full brand project with The Butler’s Pantry. This started as a project on the communication of brand values in 2012, which brought about the shop refurbishments as seen in Castleknock as well as Sandymount and Rathgar along with the evolution of the packaging design across the full packaging suite. The illustrations on the packaging have all been hand done by illustrator Steve Doogan. This project will continue onto all brand touch points which will also see a new website and van design to follow shortly.

Annette O'Donoghue, Manager,  AIB Dublin South Business Centre says "AIB is proud of our long standing relationship with The Butler's Pantry and our support in its successful growth and expansion.  This company is a strong example of an indigenous SME in this country creating employment and helping the economy"

The Castleknock shop design team also included Billy Griffin of Artisan Design. Billy has used the illustrations, the soft colour palette and authentic brickwork to great effect

Billy Griffin, Artisan said of the new signage, "When working with The Butler’s Pantry, Artisan wanted to recognise the authentic, handmade food that marks The Butler’s Pantry out from their competitors. Therefore, in designing the look and feel of the signs, we wanted to incorporate as many elements, from the old style mural adorning the reclaimed brickwork, to the external sign which utilises the colours from the new packaging which emphasises home cooking and the use of Irish Produce in their food. We are an Irish Company and are delighted that Jacquie and the team have chosen to work with us to bring the signage on their new store on Castleknock to life."
